RBF Morph in collaboration with Design Methods Company will participate to The 7th Joint Conference of ADM –INGEGRAF – AIP PRIMECA – JCM 2016 taking place at Catania Italt between 14th and 16th September 2016. The JCM 2016 originates as the 8th Joint Conference of ADM (Associazione Nazionale Disegno e Metodi dell’Ingegneria Industriale) INGEGRAF (Asociación Española de Ingeniería Gráfica) and AIP – PRIMECA (Ateliers Inter-établissements de Productique – Pôles de Ressources Informatiques pour la MECAnique). It invites all researchers, industry experts in the domain of “Interactive and Integrated Design and Manufacturing for Innovation” to disseminate their major and recent results, studies, implementations, tools and techniques at an international level. The conference will be focused on the latest advances in Design Methods and Tools in Industrial Engineering and Architecture/Civil Engineering.
We will present a work titled: “Geometric Parameterization Strategies for Shape Optimization Using RBF Mesh Morphing”. In this paper a description of its working principles and a list of case studies in which the shape parameterization was implemented using RBF mesh morphing, is presented. The efficiency in managing complex problems is highlighted detailing the performance.
