Two companion papers, summarizing the numerical/experimental activity performed within the RIBES project, have been finally accepted for publication in ASCE’s Journal of Aerospace Engineering after a long peer review process.

The first work, titled “Wind Tunnel Model Design and Aeroelastic Measurements of the RIBES Wing” recall the setup of the aeroelastic experimental campaign performed on the RIBES wing detailing the model manufacturing, the installed sensors and the measurements database generated.

The second one, titled “Validation of Structural Modeling for Realistic Wing Topologies Involved in FSI Analyses: The RIBES Test Case” goes through the numerical validation activity performed comparing a two-way and a modal FSI analysis approach against the wind tunnel measurements.
