We are proud to announce that our founder, Marco Evangelos Biancolini, will be a featured speaker at the upcoming Ansys Transportation Summit. This event brings together industry leaders, researchers, and innovators to discuss the technologies shaping the future of mobility.
Marco E. Biancolini, Associate Professor of Machine Design at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, has dedicated his career to advancing simulation-driven engineering. His research has focused on radial basis functions (RBF), mesh morphing, and shape optimization—enabling technologies that have transformed aerodynamic design and structural analysis in the automotive sector.
In recent years, his work has expanded into reduced order modeling and real-time digital twins, accelerating simulation workflows and design iterations for next-generation vehicles. These innovations are making engineering design faster, smarter, and more efficient.
As the creator of RBF Morph, Biancolini developed a robust industrial software solution that has been widely adopted by leading automotive companies such as Dallara, Nissan, and Volvo. Today, the modules Ansys RBF Morph Structures and Ansys RBF Morph Fluids, co-distributed with Ansys, are integral to numerous R&D programs and CAE pipelines across the automotive industry.
Beyond his academic and industrial contributions, Marco Evangelos Biancolini is an active member of the Technet Alliance and serves on the Steering Committee of NAFEMS Italia, further advancing the global engineering community.
We look forward to sharing our vision at the Ansys Transportation Summit and continuing to drive innovation in simulation and automotive engineering.
