Our second RBF Morph webinar hosted and organized by the Avicenna Alliance was a success.  On November 11, 2025, the webinar “Real-Time Medical Digital Twins: Geometry, Simulation, and Immersive Interaction” featured Marco Evangelos Biancolini, Founder of RBF Morph, who explored how real-time medical Digital Twins are transforming healthcare. The session examined the integration of geometry, simulation, and imaging data into immersive and interactive environments that enhance diagnosis and therapy. It included demonstrations of real-time reduced order model simulations on Meta Quest 3 and Apple Vision Pro, innovations from ROMed2VR, and live applications of geometry editing and virtual reality in clinical contexts.

Marco Evangelos Biancolini presented three pioneering medical projects currently being developed at RBF Morph. Fortissimo Plus – PANDORA focuses on pre-operative assistance for vascular graft surgery using data-driven approaches, supported by the Cyber 4.0 Competence Center under the SafeBot4Twin initiative. SafeBot4Twin introduces a cyber-secure chatbot powered by large language models to control medical Digital Twins within the NextGenerationEU initiative. INEST – ROMed2VR applies virtual reality, computational fluid dynamics, and reduced order models to pre-surgical medical planning, also funded by Cyber 4.0 through SafeBot4Twin.

The webinar highlighted how simulation, artificial intelligence, and immersive virtual reality are redefining medical workflows and surgical planning, marking significant progress in the application of digital technologies to healthcare innovation.
