RBF Morph has been present at the Aerospace Simulation Italian Conference on the 16th April 2013 at ALENIA AERMACCHI Viale Dell’Aeronautica 80038 Pomigliano D’Arco – NA. We showed how RBF Morph can boost aircraft design: as a tool for multi physics analyses (including fluid structure interaction, and ice accretion modeling) and as a tool for shape optimization with respect to such complex multi physical models.
An interesting paper, “Shaping Up” by Piaggio Aero Industries and University of Rome Tor Vergata, has been recently published on this topic in the ANSYS Advantage Magazine. It is available using this direct link.
